Another birthday combination appeared in the latest Mark Six lottery, with all seven drawn numbers within the number of days in a calendar month, giving another chance to those who like to buy Mark Six with their birthday and those of their loved ones.

This is the second time in a month that the winning combination consists only of numbers within a calendar month. The previous time was on April 4.

The latest numbers were 7, 8, 10, 12, 17, 25, and 27, which prompted 3.5 bets to have won the top prize in the lottery. Each could only win HK$7.9 million, which is rare for the top spot to receive less than HK$8 million.

Nevertheless, nearly 190,000 won, with over 160,000 citizens coming in seventh, where they bought three of the seven.

The 369 citizens who placed third were paid the lower prize limit of HK$19,200 for every bet.

With over HK$63 million in turnover, the Jockey Club had to use almost HK$3 million of its reserve, which is less than HK$4.54 million of its reserve to pay for the April 4 draw.
