Patrick Tse Yin, aged 85, has become the oldest Best Actor winner in the Hong Kong Film Awards for his role in the 2021 film Time.
It was his first Best Actor in Hong Kong Film Awards in his 70 years in the business.
His award came 11 years after his son, Nicholas Tse Ting-fung, won the same award.
His son was on the mainland and could not accompany his father to accept the award.
He wrote "Congratulations, Dad!" on Facebook.
During his acceptance speech, Tse said only "thank you." Asked if he had more to say, Tse said: "No, I don't know what to say. I only know how to receive the award."
Tse won the Hong Kong Film Award for Lifetime Achievement in 2019.
This year, Raging Fire won the Best Film; Ciya Liu Yase took the Best Actress for her film Limbo; Fung Ho-yeung was the Best Supporting Actor for Zero To Hero; and Fish Liew Chi-yu won the Best Supporting Actress for Anita Mui.
