If you wish to go back in time and check out what some historical spots looked like decades ago, just click the "augmented reality clock" to be put up at these places.The Tourism Commission earlier put up the "clocks" in dozens of places in Central and Tsim Sha Tsui, and announced yesterday that it would install another 15 markers in five districts.
You can download the mobile app "City in Time" - developed by Tourism Board and a City University team - by scanning a QR code on the AR markers.

The 15 additional locations include Chater Garden in Central, Victoria Peak's Lions Pavilion, Waterloo Road, Public Square Street and Canton Road.
"City in Time vividly brings back to life Hong Kong's extraordinary history. Users can locate the AR markers in Hong Kong online or via exploration," said City University professor Jeffrey Shaw, who conceived and directed the project."You can also take selfies against the artistic rendering of the historical panorama and share on social media, as well as read about the history of the location," he said.
