Henderson Land founder's family's home at the Peak remains HK's most expensive for sixth consecutive year

The three-home mansion at 35 Barker Road at The Peak, held by Henderson Land Development’s (0012) late founder Lee Shau-kee's family, remains Hong Kong’s most expensive ultra-luxury home for the sixth consecutive year, official data showed.

The latest rateable value of the property stayed unchanged at HK$25.6 million, according to the 2026-27 Valuation List and Government Rent Roll.

That works out to a rental value of over HK$70,000 a day. Each house in the mansion has a rental value of between HK$7.92 million and HK$8.88 million, which, together with the parking spaces, made it the most expensive home in the city. 

Local billionaire Li Ka-shing's luxury property at 22A-22C Shouson Hill Road also saw its rateable value unchanged at HK$19.48 million.
