SHKP's Sierra Sea sold out on first sales round

Sun Hung Kai Properties’ (0016) massive Sai Sha project, Sierra Sea, has sold all 318 flats on its price list during its first round of sales on Saturday, shortly after becoming the city’s second most-subscribed new project.

The developer raked in more than HK$1.66 billion from the sales.

The flats sold include 38 one-bedroom units, 186 two-bedroom units and 94 three-bedroom units, with an average discounted price of HK$10,877 per square foot.

Earlier, Sierra Sea received 37,374 checks for its 318 flats, making them 117 times oversubscribed.

This number of checks was the second highest on record, following CK Asset’s (1113) The Coast Line II in Yau Tong, which received more than 38,000 checks in August 2023.
