FX's historical epic Shogun claimed the prestigious best drama television series trophy at the Golden Globes Awards ceremony as well as best female and male acting awards for first-time winners Anna Sawai and Hiroyuki Sanada."For the young actors and creators in the world, believe in yourself and never give up."

The series won four awards in total, including best supporting male actor for first-time winner Tadanobu Asano. Shogun follows the character Lord Yoshi Toranaga, played by Sanada, as he discovers secrets that can help him destroy his enemies.
Max's Hacks won best comedy and best female actor in a comedy for Jean Smart, who plays comedienne Deborah Vance.
"I never thought I'd be so happy to be called a hack," she said in her acceptance speech.
Baby Reindeer from Netflix won best limited series or anthology and best female supporting actor for Jessica Gunning.Max's The Penguin fetched Colin Farrell best male actor in a limited series or anthology.
