Curtain rising on Filmart

The 28th Hong Kong International Film and TV Market, Filmart, will raise the curtain on the silver screen from today to Thursday at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre in Wan Chai.

The event, part of the Entertainment Expo Hong Kong, was organized by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council. It will feature over 750 global exhibitors showcasing innovative production and cutting-edge technology.

Filmart will debut a virtual production studio on-site in collaboration with Votion Studios and will host various industry forums covering topics like generative AI, streaming video content and global collaboration in ASEAN regions.

The Entertainment Expo, which runs until April 14, also features other events, including the Hong Kong Film Awards, the Asian Film Awards and the Hong Kong-Asia Film Financing Forum.
