25 companies join internship scheme

The Hong Kong government announced the Scheme on Corporate Summer Internship for this year, in cooperation with 25 major companies, aiming to encourage local tertiary students to work on the mainland and overseas.

These include Tencent, Meituan, MTR, Ant Group, Lalamove, Swire Hong Kong, Sun Hung Kai Properties, New World Development, CLP Power and MTRC.

Internships are available in various cities on the mainland, including the Greater Bay Area cities, Beijing, Shanghai, Chengdu, and Chongqing. Overseas countries include Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, the Philippines, Vietnam and the United Kingdom.

The internship period is from June to September this year, and each internship will last for not less than six weeks.
