Festive jackpot snowball tops $85m

Citizens can try their luck by purchasing a Mark Six Lunar New Year Snowball lottery ticket, which could see them winning up to HK$85 million The sale started last night.

The LNY snowball draw will be held on Wednesday. The sale of tickets for the jackpot begins on Thursday night after the latest Mark Six draw.

The number 29 has been drawn the most, 10 times in the 36 previous LNY snowball draws, followed by numbers 3 and 11 with nine drawn.

Additionally, numbers 5, 19, 37 and 43 have appeared eight times, according to statistics from the Hong Kong Jockey Club.

Mark Six tickets for the Lunar New Year Snowball draw will be available at Off-Course Betting Branches, Telebet and Interactive Services, including Online Betting Service (eWin) and Mobile Betting Service, after the draw on Thursday night.

Tickets will be on sale until 9.15pm on Wednesday, the day of the draw.

To allow more time for citizens to purchase the snowball draw tickets, tomorrow's scheduled draw will not be held.
