No time to waste on tackling food wastage

The recent World Food Day organized by Emperor Foundation, Tesla Official Owners Club Hong Kong and Feeding Hong Kong is still actively tackling the issue of food wastage for sustainability.

Launched on October 6, the event - named "Food Wanted, Not Wasted" - will collect the eligible food left from employees, merchants, and tenants of Emperor Group, the members of the shopping mall The Pulse, the residents in Southern District, the staff and car owners of Tesla in Hong Kong.

The food will be carried to appointed collection points by some Tesla car owners as volunteers to the docks of Feeding Hong Kong for the following screening and delivery to people in need at registered charity organizations.

The event will last until October 31, in a bid to attract more grassroots engagements.

Individuals who donate or carry the food to collection points at The Pulse or Feeding Hong Kong will be awarded a free one-hour car parking service or discounts to buy tickets for the Halloween festival at The Pulse.
