Taxi catches fire in Kowloon Bay

A taxi caught fire on Kai Fuk Road in Kowloon Bay on Friday morning (Aug 14), with firefighters putting out the blaze within 13 minutes.

The fire broke out at around 10.50am near the Esso gas station. The taxi was engulfed in flames, sending thick smoke into the air.

Firefighters arrived at the scene and extinguished the fire at around 11.03am. No injuries were reported, but the taxi was severely damaged.
