Thundery showers, squalls to hit HK in next few hours, Observatory warns

Areas of thundery showers associated with upper-air disturbances are affecting the vicinity of the Pearl River Estuary, the Hong Kong Observatory said.

Locally, showers will be heavier in some areas with a few squally thunderstorms in the next couple of hours. Members of the public should be aware of the change in weather.
