Blessings in AI form: John Lee honors mothers' endless love with digital hearts

In celebration of Mother’s Day, Chief Executive John Lee Ka-chiu shared an AI portrait of his family of four, thanking all mothers for their endless love.

The cartoon-style card was uploaded on his Facebook on Sunday (May 10), capturing a smiling family surrounded by colorful carnations and heart shapes, with the words, “Happy Mother’s Day”.

“Today is Mother’s Day. I designed this card with AI, wishing all moms a happy day!” he wrote. 

Behind the digital blessings lies a family memory, as Lee's AI-generated card is reportedly based on his own family portrait from 1990, when his eldest son, Gilbert Lee Man-lung, nominated him as one of Hong Kong's "Top Ten Modern Fathers."
