Nepalese man found dead in Yau Ma Tei flat

A 32-year-old Nepalese man holding a Hong Kong identity card was found dead in a flat on Shanghai Street in Yau Ma Tei on Sunday afternoon.

The man's friend discovered him unconscious around 3pm at the unit, which is understood to be the friend's residence, and called emergency services. Paramedics arrived but pronounced the man dead at the scene.

The cause of death is pending a post-mortem examination. Police have classified the case as "body found."
