The Hong Kong Palace Museum (HKPM) is inviting children aged six to 12 and their parents to join an immersive overnight journey where the wonders of ancient Egypt come alive.
Guided by the goddess Bastet and other ancient Egyptians, participants will explore the culture of ancient Egypt and uncover the fascinating secrets of pyramids and hieroglyphs through engaging traditional games and role-playing experiences.
The event offers exclusive viewing time for the blockbuster exhibition, allowing attendees to explore the iconic Egyptian exhibits and participate in fun activities guided by ancient Egyptian characters.
Participants will also learn about Egyptian architectural marvels and hieroglyphs through interactive games that unlock intriguing, hidden facts.
Additionally, an "Ancient Egyptian Culture and Customs" session will be hosted to enable parents and children to take part in exciting traditional Egyptian games to discover the art, culture, and life in ancient Egypt.
This program will be conducted in Cantonese and is scheduled to be held from 6pm on April 2 to 11.30 am on April 3. Late-night snacks, breakfast, and light refreshments will be provided.
Participants are reminded to bring essential items, including a portable power supply, sleeping pad, sleeping bag, warm clothing, personal medication, a toothbrush, and sleeping aids such as earplugs and eye masks.
