Hong Kong Palace Museum will introduce new morning and afternoon session tickets starting on February 1 to better manage visitor flow, following overwhelming public response to its special exhibition, "Ancient Egypt Unveiled: Treasures from Egyptian Museums," which opened on November 20.
Under the new arrangement, morning session tickets are valid for entry from 10am to 2pm, while afternoon session tickets cover entry from 2pm until closing time.
Prices for both sessions will be the same as the current general admission, with the exhibition running until August 31 next year.
The public can purchase tickets for February 2026 starting from tomorrow via the museum’s official website, the West Kowloon Cultural District website or mobile app, the newly launched WeChat mini program, or other online platforms of the museum’s ticketing partners.
The museum recommends visitors purchase tickets in advance to better plan their visit as the exhibition has drawn enthusiastic responses, with nearly 120,000 visits recorded since its opening.
