A 16-year-old boy was attacked by four masked youths in Yuen Long early Thursday morning in a suspected dispute involving a girl he flirted with at a bar.

The victim, surnamed Hui, was walking alone on Tung Tai Street at 2.43am after leaving a private billiards room with friends to buy snacks.
Near a nursing home, the four suspects suddenly appeared and punched and kicked him for about 40 seconds.
His HK$4,000 phone fell from his pocket and was snatched before the attackers fled.
Hui suffered abrasions to his right wrist and swelling on his forehead; he was treated in hospital.
He reportedly recognized one attacker as the boyfriend of the girl involved in an earlier incident.
Police are hunting four males aged 16–18 for assault causing actual bodily harm and theft.
