Truck overturns after collision on Fanling Highway, no injuries reported

A medium goods vehicle overturned on Fanling Highway on Monday morning following a collision with a private car, with no injuries reported.

The accident occurred at around 8am when the truck was traveling toward Yuen Long. Upon reaching the vicinity of the roundabout near So Kwun Po Road, the driver was suspected of losing control of his vehicle while attempting to avoid a private car changing lanes.

The truck subsequently overturned and came to rest across the carriageway, blocking part of the traffic lanes. The driver managed to climb out of the cab on his own and sought assistance at the scene.

As a result of the crash, some lanes of Fanling Highway heading toward Yuen Long near the roundabout were temporarily closed, leading to traffic disruption during the morning rush hour.
