The 40-year-old Kwok surnamed victim was driving along Kuk Ting Street when two other seven-seaters allegedly tailed him. They collided with his vehicle, boxing it in near the Nam Pin Wai area of Castle Peak Road.
After Kwok got out to inspect the damage, he was allegedly assaulted by the two other drivers, with one using a baseball bat. The assailants fled the scene afterwards. Kwok sustained a knee injury and sought treatment at Pok Oi Hospital on his own.
While Kwok told police he did not know the attackers, initial investigations revealed all three men have suspected triad backgrounds. The altercation is preliminarily believed to be related to personal issues.
