Speaking at the event, Tang reminisced on his training life at the Police College and his career, saying he held beliefs such as "putting in effort regardless of reward" and "with faith, we go further to serve the police force."
Siu, who was at the event, thanked Tang for his contributions to the police force and recollected moments of working with him. At the end of the event, officers cheered and waved goodbye to Tang, who was led out of headquarters by a bagpiper.
