4 men arrested in Kwai Fong Estate illegal gambling operation

Police have arrested four local men, including an 86-year-old, during an operation targeting illegal street gambling in Kwai Fong Estate on Wednesday afternoon.

Officers from the Kwai Chung division patrol unit seized suspected gambling equipment and a small amount of cash during the operation.

The men, aged between 56 and 86, were arrested on suspicion of gambling in a place other than a gambling establishment or in a street.

All four have been charged with one count of "gambling in a place other than a gambling establishment or in a street" and will appear at West Kowloon Magistrates' Courts on November 12.
