HK's Bar Leone named world's best bar

Hong Kong's Bar Leone has been crowned the world's best bar at "The World's 50 Best Bars 2025" awards ceremony held at Kai Tak Cruise Terminal on Wednesday.

The Central establishment became the first Asian bar to claim the top spot in the ranking's history. Lorenzo Antinori, founder of Bar Leone, described the honor as not only incredible for his team but "a truly proud moment for Hong Kong."

Another local bar, COA, ranked 38th globally, reinforcing Hong Kong's position in the international bar scene. The awards ceremony attracted over 1,000 bar investors and mixologists worldwide.

The Hong Kong Tourism Board has updated its online bar map featuring award-winning local venues from both "Asia's 50 Best Bars" and "The World's 50 Best Bars" lists to help visitors explore the city's diverse bar culture.
