(Video) Gang of teen boys brutally assaults girl in gob-smacking video

A disturbing 34-second video circulating online has horrified Hong Kong residents, showing two teenage boys brutally attacking a long-haired girl in a public housing estate’s stairwell, unleashing a barrage of punches, kicks, and verbal abuse that has left viewers condemning the escalating violence among youth.

The footage, which lacks details on location or timing, captures a vicious scene unfolding at night in what appears to be a dimly lit stairwell of a public housing complex. 

The two male assailants, both in their mid-teens, wear jeans and face masks, one in a long-sleeved black shirt and the other in a short-sleeved top paired with flip-flops. 

Their target, a young girl with long hair, is cornered against the railing, defenseless as the pair unleashes a relentless assault.

From the outset, the video is jarring. The boys pummel the girl with fists, delivering blows that echo with sickening thuds, while one repeatedly drives his knee into her. 

She shields her head with her arms, letting out occasional screams but unable to fend off the attack. 

The violence escalates as she’s shoved to the ground, where the boys intensify their assault, stomping on her head and slapping her repeatedly. 

One of the attackers appears to shout insults, seemingly enraged over a personal grievance involving a romantic partner, adding a layer of vindictive fury to the already brutal scene.

The clip, widely shared on social platforms, has ignited public fury, with many expressing shock at the ferocity displayed by such young perpetrators.

It is understood that the video was of an incident that occurred in June last year when a 12-year-old girl was assaulted in a stairwell behind a building in Leung King Estate, Tuen Mun.

Police swiftly arrested five teenage boys and girls suspected of involvement the day after the attack.
