MTR Corporation has suspended all outdoor section train services starting from the first train on Wednesday as the No. 10 hurricane signal remains in effect. Only limited underground services are operating while light rail and MTR bus services remain fully suspended.
Affected outdoor sections include the entire Airport Express, Disneyland Line, East Rail Line from Lo Wu/Lok Ma Chau to Hung Hom, Tsuen Wan Line from Tsuen Wan to Lai King, Kwun Tong Line from Choi Hung to Tiu Keng Leng, Island Line from Heng Fa Chuen to Chai Wan, Tung Chung Line from Kowloon to Tung Chung, South Island Line from Admiralty to Lei Tung, and Tuen Ma Line sections from Tuen Mun to Tsuen Wan West, East Tsim Sha Tsui to Ho Man Tin, and Diamond Hill to Wu Kai Sha.
All high-speed rail services between Hong Kong West Kowloon Station and mainland stations have been canceled for September 24, with partial cancellations and adjustments expected for September 25. MTR is coordinating with mainland railway authorities regarding service arrangements based on weather conditions.
Current limited underground services operating at 15-20 minute intervals include:
Tsuen Wan Line: Central to Lai King
Kwun Tong Line: Whampoa to Choi Hung
Island Line: Kennedy Town to Heng Fa Chuen
South Island Line: South Horizons to Lei Tung
Tseung Kwan O Line: North Point to Po Lam (15min), Tiu Keng Leng to LOHAS Park (20min)
Tung Chung Line: Hong Kong to Kowloon
East Rail Line: Admiralty to Hung Hom
Tuen Ma Line: East Tsim Sha Tsui to Tsuen Wan West (15min), Diamond Hill to Ho Man Tin (18min)
