A truck was completely destroyed by fire under Tsui Hing Street Bridge in the early hours of Friday, with the blaze also damaging a crane vehicle parked nearby.
The incident occurred at approximately midnight when passing motorists spotted the burning truck and alerted emergency services. Firefighters arrived promptly and extinguished the flames.
Preliminary investigation suggests the fire's cause is suspicious. According to information, the truck contained only miscellaneous items including a loading tailgate and no dangerous goods. Although the fire was extinguished, the truck was burned down to its frame while the crane vehicle sustained minor damage to its rear section.
