48-year-old driver arrested for drunk driving during police checkpoint operation in Kwun Tong

Traffic Kowloon East Region officers arrested a 48-year-old man for suspected drunk driving during a traffic enforcement operation at the intersection of Kwun Tong Road and Hong Ning Road on Tuesday night. The driver, surnamed Cheung, was stopped at a police checkpoint where officers detected alcohol odor and administered a breath test.

Preliminary investigation confirmed the driver failed the alcohol breath test, leading to his arrest on suspicion of drink-driving.
