A wagashi specialty store in Tsim Sha Tsui's K11 mall was burglarized Sunday night when a suspect stole HK$1,420 in cash during a 30-second operation. The theft occurred at "JUST FOR MOCHI" around 10:44pm when a cap-wearing man was captured on surveillance footage first loitering outside the shop before entering to retrieve keys from a drawer.
The suspect returned approximately one minute later to swiftly empty the cash register into his pants pockets before fleeing.

Shop management confirmed filing a police report and noted another nearby store experienced a similar theft the same day, possibly by the same individual.
While acknowledging the financial loss was modest, the owner emphasized zero tolerance for theft against small businesses and offered six months of free daifuku mochi as reward for information leading to the suspect's identification.
