The bus operator said it will deploy the electric double-decker bus - introduced earlier in 2021 - alongside the city's first hydrogen double-decker to serve on Route 20A to celebrate the "#MissionZero Free Ride Day."
Citybus said it's an essential step in drawing public attention to new energy public transportation and forms an integral part of the company's preparations for a comprehensive parallel testing program for the hydrogen buses alongside those of both electric and traditional diesel propulsion.
The company said it will arrange additional frontline staff and adjust schedules flexibly to ensure a seamless travel experience for customers.
Customers may access the schedule information for the electric and hydrogen buses via the Citybus webpage or app.
