Xia Baolong meets representatives of the financial sector

Hong Kong and Macau Affairs Office director Xia Baolong will be meeting with representatives of the Hong Kong’s financial sector on the fifth day of his visit top the city.

Xia was received by Chief Executive John Lee Ka-chiu and Financial Secretary Paul Chan Mo-po when his motorcade arrived at the government headquarters in Tamar on Monday morning.

The meeting was attended by the likes of Laurence Li Lu-jen, Chairman of the Financial Services Development Council, and Adrian David Li Man-Kiu, co-chief executive of the Bank of East Asia.

It is understood that the Beijing official will be meeting with leaders of foreign business chambers later today, as well as local patriots organizations.
