The Dior Men’s Pre-Fall 2024 fashion show scheduled in Hong Kong on March 23 has been postponed, the Culture, Sports and Tourism Bureau confirmed on Friday.
Replying to media inquiries, the bureau said they have just received notification from the organizer that the show has been postponed.
A spokesperson for the bureau also said delays of mega events happen occasionally and the bureau will continue to welcome other events to take place in Hong Kong.
It is understood that the fashion show, led by Dior Homme’s creative director Kim Jones, is not sponsored by the Mega Arts and Cultural Events Fund. Still, coordinating government units are providing support to Dior.
Sources said the decision to postpone was made by the luxury brand’s management.
Dior has yet to make an official announcement.
