Year of the Dragon museum passes launched

The Leisure and Cultural Services Department (LCSD) launched a special edition of the Museum Pass starting Monday to celebrate the Year of the Dragon with museum lovers.

The Year of the Dragon edition of passes released today is separated between a more traditional version featuring the "Double fire dragons in red" artwork from the museums and another version featuring the LSCD's mascots, "Enggie Pup" and "Artti Kitty," in new-year costumes.

Starting today, citizens could buy the special edition of the pass at the seven designated museums under the LSCD, such as the Hong Kong Museum of Art, the Museum of History, the Heritage Museum, etc., while stocks last.

The passes will be effective for 12 months starting from the date of issue, and the pass holders can visit the museums under the LSCD an unlimited number of times, along with enjoying shopping discounts at the museum's shops.

The annual ticket price for a family pass is HK$100, the annual ticket price for an individual pass is HK$50, and the annual ticket price for a discount pass, which only applies to students, people with disabilities, and older people, is HK$25.
