Hongkongers are reminded to brace for a cold Christmas as the Observatory recorded another lowest temperature at 8.1 degrees Celsius on Saturday morning.

The Cold Weather Warning is now in force, and the Observatory has also issued a Frost Warning at 4.30 pm today.
Farmers and other concerned parties are warned that ground frost is likely to occur tomorrow morning on high ground or in the northern part of the New Territories.
The minimum temperature tomorrow morning (Sun) will be about 10 degrees Celsius in the urban areas, and a few degrees lower in the New Territories.
It will also be very dry during the day with a maximum temperature of around 16 degrees Celsius.
The weather will still be cold in the morning on Christmas Day and temperatures will gradually rise in the following two days.
Citizens are advised to put on warm clothes, ensure adequate indoor ventilation and avoid prolonged exposure to wintry winds.
Citizens are reminded to make sure heaters are safe before use, and place them away from any combustibles, and not to light fires indoors as a means of keeping warm.
