Kevin Yeung to visit Hangzhou and meet with Asian Games organizing committee

Secretary for Culture, Sports and Tourism Kevin Yeung Yun-hung will depart for Hangzhou tomorrow (Sun) and meet with officials of the Department of Culture and Tourism of Zhejiang province. 

Yeung will also pay visits to authorities and organizations responsible for culture, tourism and sports issues, and have a work meeting with the 19th Asian Games Hangzhou 2022 Organising Committee. 

The culture and sports chief will then head to Dongyang city next Wednesday (Aug 2) to visit the Hengdian World Studios and meet with Hong Kong film industry practitioners. 

During the visit, Yeung will also join the delegation of the Legislative Council panel on home affairs, culture and sports in some of the programmes in Hangzhou. 

He will return to the SAR the next afternoon (Aug 3). 

During his absence, Under Secretary for Culture, Sports and Tourism Raistlin Lau Chun will be the Acting Secretary for Culture, Sports and Tourism.
