Thirty-seven places named in compulsory testing notice, including eight schools

Various locations in Hong Kong have been named on compulsory testing notices after authorities reported four imported cases who had stayed in Hong Kong, and eight schools which had outbreaks of upper respiratory tract infection. 

In the compulsory testing notices released last night, 29 premises visited by the patients are included in the notice. People must complete tests by November 11. 

The 13 locations are: 

(1) Pret A Manger, Shop 1015, 1/F, IFC Mall, 8 Finance Street, Central, Hong Kong at any time during the period from 1pm to 6pm on November 8

(2) Hong Kong Licensing Office, Transport Department, 3/F, United Centre, 95 Queensway, Admiralty, Hong Kong at any time during the period from 2pm to 6pm on October 19 or from 12noon to 3pm on November 8

(3) Immigration Department, 2/F, Immigration Tower, 7 Gloucester Road, Wan Chai, Hong Kong at any time during the period from 10am to 3pm on October 28

(4) McDonald’s, Shop 7T102, 8T005A and 8T005, Terminal 1, Hong Kong International Airport, 1 Cheong Hong Road, Chek Lap Kok, Lantau Island, New Territories, Hong Kong at any time during the period from 11am to 2pm on October 23 or from 2am to 6am on October 31

Meanwhile, eight schools have also been named in the notices due to outbreaks of upper respiratory tract infection and influenza-like illness. 

People who have been to these schools from October 27 to November 9 must undergo testing by November 11, or return the specimen bottles with the sample by November 13. 

Those who had undergone testing between November 7 and November 9 can be exempted from taking the test again.
