Fans of Keung To rushed to take pictures with the Cantopop star's mother who showed up at the “Music is live 2021” concert on Monday night, while Tyson Yoshi triggered screams as he showed off his abs.
The concert at the Asia World-Expo featured Mirror members Keung To and Jer Lau, as well as singers Terence Lam and Tyson Yoshi.
For three hours, thousands of fans watched as the four singers performed their solo hits and gave audiences a series of crossover performances.
The 10 remaining members of the boy band Mirror also showed up in support of their fellow members Keung and Lau. Hardcore fans at the concert surrounded them after they sat down and require securities to urge them to head back to their seats.
The atmosphere heated up when Yoshi stripped off his top while performing his song “In My Dream”, causing female fans to scream out loud.
Fans were in for a treat as Lam danced along during his performance of the Japanese song “Kanden” – a first for the singer who seldom danced.
Keung To was emotional when he knelt and sang the song Dear My Friend, which was in memory of his friend Kin who passed away.
Atmosphere reached a climax when all four singers led the audience to sing along to Keung’s “Love Behind the Mask”.
Tickets for the concert were difficult to get. Two tickets were sold for HK$9,000 in the grey market, despite the tickets were not for sale.
