(Video) BOCOM Insurance CEO Shou Fugang goes missing after a hike

Shou Fugang, CEO of China Bank of Communications Insurance Company, went missing after he went hiking alone in Sai Kung this Sunday.

Shou went hiking alone at Shek Uk Shan in Sai Kung before his family lost contact with him. Police received reports that he was missing at around 5pm yesterday. Officers and firemen soon arrived at the scene to search for him. The Government Flying Service also mobilized helicopters to look for Shou in the skies but found no leads.

This afternoon firemen, officers from Civil Aid Service and Missing Persons Unit of the police joined the manhunt as well.

Firemen sent search and rescue dogs to Hoi Ha Wan Marine Park, while others searched for Shou at Pak Tam Chung Country Park. They are now still looking for him.

According to the website of Bank of Communications, Shou joined the bank in 1987. He had served in different positions before being appointed as chairman of China BOCOM Insurance Company from November 2010 to August 2019.

Shou is currently the executive director and chief executive officer of China BOCOM Insurance Company.
