Infected diner forces Fook Lam Moon to suspend Wan Chai eatery

Chinese restaurant chain Fook Lam Moon said today its restaurant in Wan Chai will be closed until March 3 for cleaning and sanitizing after a woman confirmed with the new coronavirus had visited during the incubation period.

Since the beginning of the Lunar New Year, epidemic prevention measures have been implemented at its restaurants in Wan Chai and Tsim Sha Tsui, the chain said.

The Wan Chai restaurant, dubbed the "tycoons' canteen," was the favorite restaurant of Hong Kong billionaire Joseph Lau Luen-hung.
