Eddie Chu withdraws poll petition

Lawmaker Eddie Chu Hoi-dick has withdrawn an election petition over his disqualification in a village representative election in 2018. It was approved by the High Court.

He said the decision was made after taking into account the outcome of the election petition by Agnes Chow Ting. That led to fellow pro-democracy lawmaker Au Nok-hin being unseated.
