A 32-year-old South Korean man died after apparently falling from a flat in the Upper East residential building on Sung On Street, To Kwa Wan.
Around 7pm yesterday, a security guard on patrol discovered the man, surnamed Kim, lying on the ground outside the building and alerted police.
Paramedics confirmed he was dead at the scene. Police cordoned off the area and covered the body with a tent.
Kim was a resident of the building. No suicide note was found.
Preliminary investigations suggest he fell from a unit in the tower. He was reportedly troubled by financial issues, raising suspicions of suicide, though the exact cause awaits postmortem results.
