The Independent Committee established to review the Wang Fuk Court fire conducted its first on-site inspection on Tuesday, with members in white isolation gowns.
The members of the committee -- including lawmaker Chan Kin-por and the chairman of MTR Corp Rex Auyeung Pak-kuen -- arrived at the scene of the Wang Fuk Court fire around 9.30am.
The committee members inspected the periphery of Wang Fuk Court and entered the buildings to learn more. At approximately 12.10pm, the committee members concluded theinspection and left the scene.
The committee, led by Judge David Lok Kai-hong, held the first meeting on December 19, marking the commencement of their work.
