As of December 31, 2020, the virtual bank recorded more than 220,000 users and paid interest on over HK$6 billion of personal savings, according to the bank.
The bank said it also has lent HK$650 million to borrowers.
ZA Bank Limited, licensed by the Hong Kong Monetary Authority on March 27, 2019, is one of the first batch of virtual banks in Hong Kong, offering a wide range of online financial services to Hong Kong users. ZA Bank was established by ZhongAn Technologies International Group.
