Simon Yam hints at Felix Wong’s long-rumored romance with Emily Kwan

Felix Wong Yat-wah, 64, has remained in the public eye about his love life since the passing of his beloved wife, Carina Leung Kit-wah, in 2020.

Recently, close friend Simon Yam Tat-wah appeared on a TV show and seemed to play matchmaker, hinting at a romance between Wong and 59-year-old actress Emily Kwan Po-wai. Yam even said their relationship is “almost happening.”

Yam revealed that Kwan has started taking an interest in football to bond with Wong and often joins him and other celebrity friends, including Natalis Chan Pak-cheung and Alan Tam Wing-lun, for meals and football matches.

The pair’s romance rumors date back to 2021, when they were spotted dining together and photographed in close-up shots. Although both denied the rumors at the time, speculation resurfaced in 2023 when reports suggested Wong had proposed, a claim he later clarified was untrue.

Wong’s personal life continues to attract attention due to his deep devotion to his late wife. After Leung’s death, he temporarily stepped away from showbiz and shared the heartbreak he experienced while caring for her. He once said, “She was my number one fan… ever since she passed, she can’t watch my work. So why keep going?”
