Thailand, already popular for its accessibility, hospitality and vibrant culture, is now emerging as a meaningful educational travel destination. This summer, Alpine Football Camp Training and Environmental Education Centre in Thailand offer two inspiring study tour options for students to learn beyond the classroom — one through football and team spirit, the other through nature and real-world discovery.
Train Like Champions at the Alpine Football Camp
For teenagers who love football, Alpine Football Camp Training offers a professional environment designed to meet international standards. Located in both Bangkok and Chiang Mai, Alpine is a premier training destination for elite clubs, national teams, academies and professional athletes.
Its Bangkok venue features two AFC-standard natural grass pitches that have hosted world-renowned clubs including Liverpool FC and Leicester City FC during their official training camps in Thailand. AFC has also welcomed teams from across Asia and beyond, including Korea, Hong Kong, China, Vietnam, Japan, Indonesia and Malaysia, establishing itself as one of the region’s trusted football training destinations. For young Hong Kong footballers, training on grounds used by international teams can be highly motivating, giving them a taste of professional preparation and the discipline required at a higher level.
More than a sports camp, Alpine offers teenagers lessons in teamwork, communication, resilience, leadership and emotional control. Every training session asks students to cooperate, make decisions under pressure and learn from mistakes. For schools, it is a strong option for sports tours, football exchanges, team-building programs and overseas training camps. For parents, it offers a meaningful summer experience combining sport, friendship, discipline and self-confidence.
AFC also provides complete training camp packages, including accommodation, nutritious meals, airport and local transportation, professional facilities and hospitality services, helping schools and families focus on student growth rather than logistics.

The training camp frequently collaborates with European professional football clubs, giving children the chance to improve their ball-control skills under the guidance of professional coaches.

Team football matches help children build resilience amidst challenges while strengthening their communication skills.
Let Nature Be the Classroom with EEC Thailand
Environmental Education Centre Thailand, or EEC Thailand, brings learning into forests, national parks, coastal environments and local communities. Guided by the concept “Let Nature Be Our Classroom,” EEC designs immersive environmental learning programs and camps for students, schools and families from around the world.
Instead of learning only from textbooks, children explore real environments across Thailand, including forests, oceans, mangroves, wildlife areas and cultural communities. Through hands-on activities, they observe ecosystems, encounter wildlife, ask questions and understand sustainability through direct experience.
For Hong Kong students used to fast-paced urban life and digital routines, outdoor learning can be refreshing and transformative. A forest trail becomes a lesson in observation. A wildlife encounter teaches empathy and coexistence. A local community visit introduces culture, sustainability and new perspectives.
EEC programs help build critical thinking, problem-solving, communication, collaboration, confidence, curiosity, responsibility and resilience. Signature experiences include the “Animals of Khao Yai Camp” in Khao Yai National Park, where participants join wildlife spotting drives, forest hikes and ecosystem exploration, with possible encounters with elephants, porcupines, gibbons and other native species.
Other programs cover elephant habitats, fossils and paleontology, veterinary and wildlife care, and marine and coastal camps in mangroves, beaches, coral reef environments and coastal communities. These experiences connect naturally with STEM, geography, biology, environmental education, citizenship and life-wide learning.
With more than 11 years of experience designing programs for schools, families and organizations, EEC emphasizes educational quality and participant safety, with experienced staff, risk assessments and on-site evaluations supporting each camp.

Children can get up close with elephants, learning to respect life and care for nature through real-life interaction.

Through fossil and paleontology programs, science-loving children can explore ancient landscapes and study fossils in an engaging, hands-on way.

Stepping into nature’s real-life classroom, children carefully search for animal tracks along forest trails, gradually developing patience and focus along the way.
A Summer Journey Beyond Sightseeing
This summer, Thailand invites Hong Kong students to travel with purpose. Whether chasing a football across a professional pitch or following animal tracks through a national park, teenagers can build confidence, curiosity, teamwork and global awareness outside the classroom. For parents, principals and teachers, Alpine Football Camp Training and EEC Thailand offer accessible, inspiring options for family trips, sports tours, overseas field trips and life-wide learning programs.
