Man falls into coma after paragliding accident in Ma On Shan

A male paraglider lost consciousness after suffering injuries as he fell onto the lawn of Ngong Ping in Ma On Shan on Tuesday.

Police and firefighters received the report at 12.36 pm, and the man was flown to Pamela Youde Nethersole Eastern Hospital by the helicopters of the Government Flying Service.

The man later regained consciousness.

Witnesses said the man was not holding onto his paraglider when he fell.

The cause of the incident is still under investigation.
