Hong Kong International Airport (HKIA) will host the annual global aviation event, Routes World 2025, in September next year.
The event is expected to attract over 3,000 global aviation industry leaders to explore the latest developments and opportunities in the city and pave the way for new air connections with HKIA.
The event, comprising exhibitions and forums, would offer an excellent dialogue and exchange platform for leaders from more than 260 airlines, as well as airports, tourism, and other aviation stakeholders to explore the future development of the aviation industry.
"With decision makers from over 130 countries expected to attend, Hong Kong will showcase the significant infrastructure developments to the people that decide where the world's aircraft fly," Director of Routes Steven Small said.
Vivian Cheung Cheung Kar-fay, the Chief Operating Officer of Airport Authority Hong Kong, said the event aligns perfectly with the government's commitment to strengthening Hong Kong's position as an international aviation hub.
