Talent interested in planning their career in the city and stakeholders concerned about talent development are invited to visit the CareerConnect Expo and Global Talent Summit hosted by Hong Kong Talent Engage next month.
The career expo, which will be held on May 7 and 8 at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre, will offer quality job information and tailored solutions for settling in.
An exhibition area will promote Hong Kong's unique advantages and development opportunities, with various talent admission schemes and support services provided at the venue.
Experience-sharing sessions will also be held for incoming talent and those settling in the city, while Guangdong and Macau will also introduce the latest manpower developments and opportunities of the Greater Bay Area at the booths.
Around 100 public and private organizations - including the Independent Commission Against Corruption, the Information Services Department, the Airport Authority Hong Kong, the Hong Kong Cyberport Management Company Limited, the Hong Kong Productivity Council, the Hong Kong Science and Technology Parks Corporation, the MTR Corporation Limited, and the Hospital Authority - will participate in the Expo.
Talent who have recently arrived can also learn about relevant information on job searches, working or starting a business in Hong Kong, and the latest skill demands of different sectors and professions. Some exhibitors will provide visiting talent and their families with consultation services and settling-in solutions or offers.
The Expo will be held from 10am to 5.30pm, and admission is free.
