A mainland prostitute who reported she was robbed of HK$3,000 by a knife-wielding man was arrested by police for breaching conditions of stay.

Police received the report from the 29-year-old mainland woman surnamed Liu around 11 pm on Friday, saying that she was threatened by a man wielding a knife and was robbed of about HK$3,000 in a flat at Fuji Building on Lockhart Road in Wan Chai.
After a preliminary investigation, the case was listed as a robbery and was passed to Wan Chai district crime investigation team.
No injuries were reported, and police are now hunting down the man aged between 20 to 30, who was wearing a dark top at the time.
Upon a further investigation, police arrested Liu for breaching conditions of stay.
It is understood that Liu arrived in Hong Kong on a two-way permit. She is currently remanded in custody.
