Seroi Anderson Saitoti from Kenya medalled first place in the Men's group with a two-hour, 12-minute, and 51-second record. Medina Armino from Ethiopia crowned the full marathon with a time of two hours, 28 minutes, and 47 seconds for the Women's group.
For the local runners, Wong Wan-chun arrived as the lead with a time of two hours, 23 minutes, and 23 seconds, placing 15th in the men's group.
Christy Yiu Kit Ching was the fastest local female runner, crossing the line in two hours, 41 minutes, and 9 seconds while making her second appearance in the annual marathon after giving birth.
"I am not even close to my personal best," Yiu said. "I was hoping to finish within two hours and 40 minutes."
Regarding the half marathon, mainlander Sun Xiaoyang earned first place in the men's group, while Hilda Choi Yan-yin from Hong Kong champ in the women's group.
