Two people were sent to the hospital after they were bitten by a boar outside Fo Tan MTR station on Friday morning.
The incident took place at around 11.19 am this morning. The boar bit the right elbow of a 15-year-old boy and a woman’s thigh before it fled into bushes nearby.
A small hole could also be seen in the young man’s shorts on the right. The two were then sent to Prince of Wales Hospital.
Cops carrying shields later arrived at the scene and located the boar hiding in the bushes.
Officers of the Agriculture, Fisheries, and Conservation Department were also called to the scene.
They have cordoned off the area and are now trying to capture the boar.
A police investigation is underway.
