John Lee to visit Guiyang for Pan-Pearl River Delta development

Chief Executive John Lee Ka-chiu will lead a delegation to visit Guiyang in Guizhou province for three days to strengthen the cooperation between the city and the Pan-Pearl River Delta Region.

During the visit starting on Wednesday, Lee will attend the 2023 Pan-Pearl River Delta (PPRD) Regional Cooperation Chief Executive Joint Conference, meet with leaders from different provinces and visit innovation and technology facilities in Guiyang.

The delegation members include the Secretary for Commerce and Economic Development Algernon Yau, Secretary for Transport and Logistics Lam Sai-hung, and Secretary for Innovation, Technology and Industry Sun Dong.

They will conclude the three-day visit and return to Hong Kong this Friday (July 7).

The PPRD Regional Cooperation Chief Executive Joint Conference is an important regional cooperation and exchange platform which was put forward and established jointly by nine PPRD mainland provinces/regions and Hong Kong and Macau in 2004.
